Flamenco Dancing In Middletown

Rebeca Tomas in green, a West Hartford native and New York resident; Sol Koeraus in red of New York and guitarist Cristian Puig, an Argentinean native who lives in N.Y., performed at Keigwin Middle School in Middletown Tuesday, in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.  The performance was sponsored by The Middletown Public Schools Cultural Council as a way to introduce the students to other cultures. The performers are affiliated with Young Audiences Arts for Learning Connecticut, an affiliate of VSA arts, an international nonprofit that offers classroom workshops, school cultural and arts programs, arts integration and artist in residence opportunities to local schools.
