The 2012-2013 season at New Britain’s Hole in the Wall Theater — its 40th — kicks off in September with the Jean Giraudoux’ “The Madwoman of Chaillot.” Matty Skwiot directs the show which runs Fridays and Saturdays, Sept. 14th through Oct. 6, and Sundays, September 23 and 30.
The musical “Spring Awakening,” with a book and lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Duncan Sheik, runs Nov. 9 through Dec. 8.
Following is the world-premiere of “Attack of the Space Nymphos from Uranus,” written and directed by Bill Arnold, and playing Jan. 11 through Feb. 2.
Michael Cristofer's Pulitzer-Prize winning play, “The Shadow Box,” Dennis Hull directs the play which runs March 8 to 30.
The world premiere of “Whiskey Tango," written and directed by John Peifer, follows May 3 to June 1.
The season closes with the Cole Porter musical “Anything Goes,” running July 12 to Aug. 10. Ted Guhl directs.
