The Connecticut Women’s Alliance has chosen the Hartford-based Judy Dworin Performance Project as its year-long beneficiary.
The annual spring conference of the CWA will be held April 25 at the Marriott Farmington and will begin the fundraising effort.
The not-for-profit Judy Dworin Performance Project was founded in 1989 and its primary focus has been on the under-served. One of its major programs focuses on the York Correctional Institution, the state’s only prison for women located in Niantic.
