Karen Lipeika, Deep River

Karen Lipeika of Deep River lives on the shoreline, where she pursues her interests in art, photography and the outdoors. She has a varied background with experience in television and newspapers, web management, writing and developing marketing campaigns. She works full-time as a director of marketing for North Cove Outfitters, an outdoor retailer.<br>

She graduated from Paier College of Art in <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100205090000" title="Hamden (New Haven, Connecticut)" href="/topic/us/connecticut/new-haven-county/hamden-%28new-haven-connecticut%29-PLGEO100100205090000.topic">Hamden</a> with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. She belongs to the Lyme Art Association, the Madison Art Association and the Mystic Arts Center. She has exhibited at various locations throughout the state, and her paintings and sculpture are in private collections throughout New England.<br>
