Adolph Faticoni, Southington

Southington resident Adolph "AJ" Faticoni created the artwork on the cover of this week's iTowns. The piece, titled "Life," was painted with watercolors and acrylic paints. Faticoni, a Navy veteran and retired high tech company administrator and employee, also served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He draws much of his inspiration for his art from his travels. A New Britain native, Faticoni has lived in Washington, New Jersey, Florida and California and has traveled extensively through Asia and Europe. His interest in art, he said, came at an early age after a trip to Italy.
