Carolyn Astle, Middletown

Carolyn Astle of Middletown is a retired literacy specialist teacher who has had a life-long passion for photography and has creatively used various mediums for expression. She has used macro photography as a form of art not only to see things as they appear, but to visualize them in an abstract form using the "eye of the mind" to create graphically effective forms developed in isolation from its surroundings. The image on the cover is a display of various annuals and periannuals called "Flower Collage" placed strategically on glass beads to give the viewer a flower garden image.
