( Bob MacDonnell/Hartford Courant ) Marian Schumaker hugs Raymond Kasey, a captain at the Hartford Fire Department's Engine Company 11, after she was honored by the department for her bravery in assisting patients at the Greenwood Health Center where she was a nursing supervisor during the tragic fire that occurred there on February 26, 2003. Schumaker was presented with an honorary fire department member plaque at Engine Company 11, the first to respond to the fire. |
