Kirsten Wyatt (Broadway's "Elf," "Grease," "High Fidelity" and "Urinetown") will play Agnes Gooch in the musical "Mame" at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Hadam. Louise Pitre stars in the revival which runs April 20 to July 1. Judy Blazer plays Vera Charles.
Ray Roderick (Goodspeed's "42nd Street," "Singin' in the Rain," "My One and Only") directs. Choreography is by Vince Pesce, who was associate choreographer of Broadway’s "Anything Goes," "The Pajama Game, " "Wonderful Town" and "Little Shop of Horrors."
Wyatt also appeared in Goodspeed’s "My One And Only" and "The Boy Friend."
Also featured are: James Seol (Broadway’s "A Naked Girl on the Appian Way") as Ito, Paul Carlin (Goodspeed's "1776," "Where's Charley,?", The Boy Friend," "Brigadoon") as Babcock; James Beaman (Goodspeed's "How to Succeed...," "Annie Get Your Gun":) as Woolsey; James Lloyd Reynolds (Goodspeed’s "42nd Street") as Beau; Eli Baker as Peter; and Erin Denman as Sally Cato (Goodspeed’s "42nd Street)"
In the ensemble are: Alan Gillespie, Beau Landry, Peter Leskowicz, Denise Lute, Eric John Malhum, Mary Jo McConnell, Kim Sava, Melissa Ann Steadman, Kit Treece, Kellyn Uhl and John T. Wolfe. The swings will be Brittany Bohn and Nick Nerio.
Scenic designs will be by James Youmans, costumes by Gregg Barnes, lighting design will be by Charlie Morrison, sound design will be by Jay Hilton, music director will be Michael O’Flaherty who is in his 21st season as Goodspeed’s resident music director.
