Mark Twain

Samuel Langhorne Clemens, born November 30, 1835, was an American author better known as his pen name, Mark Twain. Twain grew up in Missouri, which inspired his famous novels, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Twain was married in New York then moved to Hartford with his family. His Hartford home is now a museum showcasing his life.handout / handout
