My wife and I watched "The Apprentice" the first couple of seasons when it was new. After that, we were bored with it and drifted away, probably to some other show we got bored with after two seasons.
I've never seen "Celebrity Apprentice" and have no desire to, so the only time I see The Donald is when he is a guest on a TV show, or when he's doing some outlandish hare-brained stunt, like running for President.
With him out of the running, it opens the field for the other batch of Republican losers. That's all very convenient for us folks who think this current batch of Republican Presidential wannabees may be the worst bunch of religious fanatics, extremist right wing nuts and morons of all time.
With any luck, the rapture will come as predicted on Saturday and the Grand Old Party can get back to being a grand old party, the party of Abraham Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower and Teddy Roosevelt.
Face Time! Come see me at Summer Funfest at the Connecticut Expo Center on Sunday, May 22. The Hartford Courant will have a booth across from Fox CT and I'll be drawing caricatures from 1PM to 2PM.
