Derrick Allen "Rick" Mahorn (born September 21, 1958)

Born in Hartford, Mahorn was a professional basketball player. He played in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers, and New Jersey Nets, as stated by <a href="http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3774/rick-mahorn">ESPN</a>. In 1989 Mahorn won the NBA championship with the Pistons.  In 2009 he became the head coach of the Detroit Shock, a position he held until the franchise moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Mahorn is currently a radio analyst for the Detroit Pistons.
