With 170 acres, 44 ski trails, 9 lifts, and 3 terrain parks, the numbers add up to a grand 5 star resort.
Jiminy Peak, currently the only mountain resort in North America to generate its own energy, has been open since 1948. It has grown into a year-round staple of New England, with 93% snow coverage as well as the Summer Mountain Adventure Park.
With the lifts in operation from mid-November through the beginning of April, take advantage of the special deals offered frequently throughout the season. Make sure to call the "snow-phone" to get mountain weather alerts: 888-4-Jiminy.
Don't let the grandeur of the mountain intimidate you novices; Jiminy offers first-time as well as group and private lessons.
For special events and occasions, Jiminy Peak houses conference and wedding facilities for up to 400 people.
After a day in the snow, nothing tastes better than a hot meal. Don't miss out on the eateries at Jiminy Peak:
