David Messenger

David Messenger was found not guilty by reason of insanity in the 1998 murder of his pregnant wife at their home in Chaplin, Connecticut. Messenger is now confined at Dutcher Hall on the grounds of Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown. Messenger could stay in the custody of the state Psychiatric Security Review Board for more than 20 years if the state proves that he remains a danger.
