Dale Hensley Stars in Sharon's 'Damn Yankees'

John Simpkins (off-Broadway’s “The Black Suits”) directs the musical “Damn Yanlees” at the TriArts Sharon Playhouse. The show, playing through Aug. 25, stars Dale Hensley (Broadway’s “The Drowsy Chaperone,” “La Cage Aux Folles,” “Sunset Boulevard”). Hensley’s Connecticut credits include “42nd Street” at Goodspeed Opera House and “The Immigrant” at the Westport Country Playhouse.

Also featured in then show are Jarrad Green and Jane Kivnick at the TriArts Mainstage, 49 Amenia Road, in Sharon.

Choreography is by M.K. Lawson and music direction by Eric Kang.

Performances are Wednesday at 2 p.m.; Thursday at 2 and 7 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 1 and 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 to $47. Information: www.triarts.net or 860-364-7469.
