Central Connecticut Men's Soccer Team Clinches NEC Regular Season Title, Top Seed

The Central Connecticut men's soccer team clinched the Northeast Conference regular season title and the top seed for the upcoming NEC tournament with a 1-0 victory Friday night over St. Francis (Pa.).

Manny Nobre scored with 34:31 remaining for the Blue Devils (8-7-1, 5-0 NEC), who have finished first in the conference two of the last three years.

Central hosts Robert Morris Sunday in the regular-season finale.
