Cast Named For "The Fabulous Lipitones" Musical Workshop

Danny Rutigliano (Broadway's "The Lion King," the national tour of "How to Succeed in Business...") will be featured in the cast of the new musical comedy "The Fabulous Lipitones," which will receive a workshop at Goodspeed Musicals' Normal Terris Theatre in Chester.

The show "about a not-so-traditional barbershop quartet" runs May 9 to June 2. 

The musical comedy is by Emmy-winning writer John Markus, head writer for "The Cosby Show" and writer/producer of "The Larry Sanders Show," and award-winning playwright Mark St. Germain, author of "Freud's Last Session" and the upcoming "Dr. Ruth All the Way" at Hartford's TheaterWorks.

Also featured in the cast are D.C. Anderson (Broadway's "Phantom of the Opera"), Wally Dunn (Broadway's "Gypsy") and Broadway's "Gypsy" ’s and Rohan Kymal (off-Broadway's "All the Rats and Rags").

The show is directed by Gordon Greenberg (Goodspeed's "Happy Days," "Band Geeks," "The Baker's Wife," "Half a Sixpence" and "Pirates of Penzance"). Choreography will be by Connor Gallagher (national tour of "Elf").
