Sunday, Oct. 13: Representatives from Komen Connecticut will be at the Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets' center courtyard at Gap Outlet from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., to answer questions regarding breast health and the organization's efforts. Light refreshments and Lindt Chocolate samplings. All month, customers can make a $10 donation to receive a coupon for 25 percent off one item from select stores at the center. Donations will be accepted on-site only via cash or credit, with contributions benefiting Komen of Connecticut.
Wednesday, Oct. 23: St. Francis Care, Radiology Associates of Hartford and NBC Connecticut are teaming to offer free mammograms at St. Francis Care at Glastonbury, 31 Sycamore St., Glastonbury. Call 860-714-2724 to schedule.
Digital Mobile Mammography
October and November: Hartford Hospital is providing a digital mobile mammography van around the community and at places of employment.
Upcoming van visits are scheduled at: First Choice Health Center, East Hartford (Oct. 23); Hartford City Hall (Nov. 13); Newington Chamber of Commerce (Nov. 14), and Jackson Chevrolet, Middletown (Nov. 16).
