Bill Rodgers won both the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon four times each in the '70s. He won Boston in 1975, 1978, 1979 and 1980. He won four New York City Marathons in a row from 1976-1979. Rodgers competed in the Montreal Olympics in 1976. Rodgers got a sociology degree from Wesleyan in 1970.
