1967: Barry Bonds Visits Connecticut

Barry Bonds visited Connecticut as a 3-year-old in 1967. He ran around Waterbury's Municipal Stadium while his father, Bobby, was playing for the Eastern League's Waterbury Giants. Bobby Bonds, a future Yankee, hit .261 with 15 homers for Waterbury. Other players who played for Waterbury in the Eastern League: Dave Parker, Pedro Guerrero, Richie Zisk, Eric Davis, Wally Joyner, Rick Sutcliffe and current Red Sox manager John Farrell.
