Quentin Snediker, director of the Henry B. DuPont Preservation Shipyard at Mystic Seaport, inspects the framing timbers and planks in the forward hold of the 168 year old Charles W. Morgan, the last surviving whaling ship in the world. Snediker is overseeing a three-year, $6 million restoration of the wooden ship.
