<B>2010:</b> After an 0-2 start in league play, UConn won its last five by an average of 9.2 points to gain access to the BCS in the Fiesta Bowl vs. Oklahoma.

<B>2010:</b> Kyle Gallo recorded a 200 score for three rounds to win the Connecticut Open at the Country Club of Fairfield on July 28, 2010. Gallo, the winner also in 1998, 2000 and 2004, tied John Golden (1932-35) as the only four-time winner.

<B>2010:</b> It was announced that Howard Baldwin and Whalers Sports & Entertainment would assume control of Hartford's AHL team and rename it from Wolf Pack to the Connecticut Whale. The name was changed back to Wolf Pack in May 2013.
