Both victims were taken to Bay State Hospital in Springfield. But Harvey said Kerra Colgan was transferred to Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston and Katie Colgan was transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital. Somers Deputy Fire Chief Frank Falcone said a passerby went into the house and rescued the 7-year-old girl. Firefighters rescued a semi-conscious woman in her 30's on the second floor, where they believe the fire started. Harvey asked for the passerby who rescued her granddaughter to come forward. "Whoever you are I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so very much. Please come forward so we know who you are so I can thank you personally for saving my daughter's life and my granddaughter's life," she said.
