Tony Blair, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, made his first ever visit to Grand Rapids on Tuesday.
Blair was the featured speaker at the 25th annual Economics Club Dinner of Grand Rapids.
2,100 business minded people were in attendance as Blair spoke about his vision of the future.
Blair said he's never seen a tougher time to be a world leader. He said World politics and the economy are unstable and unpredictable.
Blair said while it's tough to be a leader in that environment he stressed it's also important for strong leaders to emerge, hoping to motivate some of the local business minds in the room to take on a larger roll in their community.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
