National Hockey League Lockout Extended

NHLNational Hockey League Players' Association2012 NHL Lockout

The National Hockey League has announce the cancelation of over 25 percent of regularly scheduled season games due to a lack of an agreement.

Games through Nov. 30, 2012 have been canceled. From Oct. 11 to Nov. 30, a total of 326 regular season games would be normally scheduled.

The NHL cites the lack of a collective bargaining agreement between the NHL Players' Association and the NHL as the cause.

Previously the NHL had canceled games through Oct. 24.
