A pedestrian was transported to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Grand Rapids' northeast side Friday night.
The Grand Rapids Police Department responded to the intersection of Plainfield Avenue NE and Lamberton Lake Drive NE shortly after 7 p.m. Friday. Police told FOX 17 NEWS that a female pedestrian crossed Plainfield in front of a vehicle, which was unable to stop and hit her.
The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. Emergency workers on the scene said she may have suffered a broken leg.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
