A Lake Worth man grabbed a shotgun and handgun before shooting at a fleeing man he had just been fighting with, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrest report.
The fight happened Saturday and started when the victim told deputies he was going to see his friend in Lantana to talk with her.
But when he got there at about 1:30 a.m., the victim said he found his friend but Everth Castellon-Espino, 24, stopped the woman from coming outside and instead, pushed him outside, where the two started to fight.
The victim said the fight was broken up and he was leaving in a Jeep when Castellon-Espino came outside wielding a shotgun and started shooting, shattering windows and leaving holes in the vehicle. The Jeep was left with more than $15,000 in damage.
Deputies arrived to find shattered glass and two 12-gauge shell casings on the road. They talked with Castellon-Espino who said a man came to his door asking for someone he didn't know.
Castellon-Espino said he got angry and pushed the victim outside where they fought. When that ended, he went inside, grabbed his shotgun and handgun and came back out and shot at the victim's Jeep three times before firing several more "warning shots" into the air with the handgun, according to the report.
Deputies arrested Castellon-Espino, who is held in Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $103,000 bail. He faces charges of firing a missile into a dwelling and criminal mischief.
