Anne Drescher, a homemaker in Plantation.
"The High Holy Days are about hoping for a sweet year. So I make tzimmes: sweet potatoes, sliced apples, brown sugar, craisins, whatever dried fruit I have on hand, layered in margarine. And if I want to go farther, I can drizzle honey all over it. The holy days are a time for reflection. how I've led my life in the past year. And how to make amends for anything, if that needs to be done. And not just for God, but in your business and for the people in your life."
