Royal Caribbean International's Freedom of the Seas, the most anticipated cruise ship to take to the seas in years, made her spectacular U.S. premiere Wednesday, May 10, 2006 in Bayonne, NJ at Cape Liberty Cruise Port. Freedom of the Seas boasts several industry "firsts" including a FlowRider(r) surf park, cantilevered whirlpools, a 14-person suite and the only boxing ring at sea. The ship will officially be inaugurated on Friday, May 12. At 160,000 GRT and holding 3,634 guests double-occupancy, Freedom of the Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world.
