Boys' Coach of the Year

Jeff Fossen

Park Vista

2010 record: 20-0

Comment: In his sixth year as coach, the Cobras won the county title for the fourth year in a row, doubling their 2009 margin of victory with a 70-point cushion. They went on to win the district title and finished second in a tough region to send nine athletes to state in eight events. "It's probably the best team I've ever had all the way around. Winning the county meet by 70 points is pretty much unheard of, but I don't know if there was any one individual highlight. It was just a combined effort by a group of kids that didn't like to lose and did whatever it took to win. This group is going to be really hard to replace."
