NO WEDDING CAKE ON MY WEDDING DAY, pretty much sums up my experience with The Batimore Cakery. We had a tasting, signed a contract, and all agreed upon the delivery time, date and location. I even called two weeks before the wedding to confirm every detail. By 5pm on my wedding day the event manager had to inform me there was NO CAKE! After multiple calls trying to get in touch with the bakery, Jill (the owner/manger?) tells me "we didn't make a cake"! They allegedly lost power due to the hurricane which hit our area on Monday... My wedding was on Wednesday. I received NO PHONE CALLS OR NO EMAILS. Jill just assumed because she lost power the wedding was cancelled! Incredible! No one contacted me and I was left with NO CAKE ON MY WEDDING DAY. This "business" is by far the most unprofessional and incompetent place I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity in dealing with. BRIDES-TO-BE, DO NOT ORDER YOUR CAKE HERE, UNLESS OF COURSE YOU DIDN'T WANT A WEDDING CAKE TO BEGIN WITH!
