A creative way to ask friends to be in your bridal party

For some people, choosing the bridal party can be one of the toughest decisions in wedding planning -- but not for me. I knew my bridal party even before the question was popped. My bridesmaids are my go-to people, my best friends and my family. I didn't have any questions or doubts in my head. The one issue with our bridal party is that it will be uneven. I wasn't crazy about this, but it is what it is.

My fiancé has fewer groomsmen than I have bridesmaids, but we decided that we are OK with this. There is no reason for him to ask people just because we need an even number, and there is no way I was eliminating anyone. My bridal party consists of my best childhood friends, best friends from high school and my cousin.  It is nice to have such a support system on my side. I tend to get overwhelmed easily, but with this group, I know I'll be okay.

I wanted to make it special for my bridesmaids when I asked them, so I went on Etsy to find ideas. They have all sorts of cute ideas from cards to favors. I decided to go with wine with specially-made labels on the bottles. I figured this would be a good idea because it was cute and personal -- plus they get to enjoy the wine. I was able to choose what saying, colors and pictures I wanted on the labels. I was so happy with the way they turned out, but not as happy as when my bridesmaids said yes to being in the wedding.
