Pictures: Letters to Afghanistan from elementary-schoolers
While my husband, USMC Sgt. Judah Kelber, was deployed to Afghanistan, two of our friends who are elementary-school teachers had their students write letters to him (and in one case, his team). These are some of the letters he received, as well as some photos from his visit to sixth-graders at Berwyn Heights Elementary School, in Berwyn Heights, Md. The other letters are from Cori Carroll's third-grade class at McLoughlin Elementary School in Oregon City, Ore. (Note: Last names have been obscured for privacy.)
