Kid-run farmer's market from Living Classrooms is this Saturday

The 18th annual BUGS Famer's Market is being held, rain or shine, this Saturday. This kid-run event hosted by Living Classrooms will feature organic heirloom veggies, flowers, snacks and herb seedlings as well as student-made artwork. There will also be music and live demonstrations.

It's put on by the 60 students in Living Classrooms' Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students (BUGS) After-School Program. The program serves studets in grades 2 through 5 from Commodore John Rodgers Elementary/Middle School, a Baltimore City Public School. 

The market will be held at Living Classrooms Foundation East Harbor Campus at 802 S. Caroline Street, Baltimore, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information visit livingclassrooms.org.
