Wham! Spring fashion is here, and you can't miss it.
Huge graphic prints, painterly brush strokes, bold color blocks, optical illusion patterns and eye-popping colors are among the dazzling offerings now in stores.
That artful flair got us to thinking: Who better to show off the guts and the glory of this season than some local art students? Lucky us to have found five fashionable art majors at Adelphi University in Garden City, who kindly agreed to be our models for the day. And they were as thrilled as we were about the location of our photo shoot -- the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbor, where it just so happens that a knockout "Pop and Op" art exhibit is on display through
May 4 featuring the likes of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Robert Indiana to name a few.
So picture this: The best of spring fashion side-by-side with the works of the best "Pop and Op" artists ever. In a word ... awesome. See our gallery of the latest spring fashions.
