BIRTHDAY GUY: Actor Matt Keeslar was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., today in 1972. The birthday guy starred in the short-lived series "The Middleman," as well as guest-starring on recent episodes of "Leverage" and "Dollhouse." Keeslar starred in both the miniseries "Frank Herbert's Dune" and "Stephen King's Rose Red." On the big screen, Keeslar has appeared in "Texas Rangers," "Scream 3" and "The Last Days of Disco."
ARIES (March 21-April 19): The red, red robin goes bob, bob bobbing along. Actually, it might be the wrong time of year for robins but you can get the right idea for today if you hum that song. Live, love, laugh and be happy.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You don't need to impress your true friends. The problem is that you might be hobnobbing with strangers who are not bosom buddies. It might be a good idea to polish your shoes and comb your hair.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Pay attention to the local pecking order. You may be forced to associate with the kind of people who don't appreciate all of your finest traits or those who won't let you spread your wings.
CANCER (June 21-July 22): In an effort to treat everyone fairly, you may be left holding the bag. Just as you wouldn't take advantage of casual friendships, don't let friends take advantage of you. Insist on reasonable rewards and limits.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Get your career in gear. Joining a professional group or signing up for a seminar might add sparkle to your resume or simply spur fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Detached friendships might widen your horizons.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Soar with high spirits. You can juggle several balls at once without tiring and even ask for more. The love of your life will be thrilled by your stamina so plan on late night romantic meetings.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): They say you shouldn't cry over spilled milk, but reserve the right to do so if you want to. Without tears the eyes would dry out. It isn't always pleasant to cry, but without the ability to cry you could be blind.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): It is necessary to be compassionate. You have an inner compass that often guides you safely through the most difficult financial and business exchanges. Be fair even it might hurt a little bit.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Link up with likeminded individuals. Maintain a respectful distance when dealing with new connections and contacts, as they are likely to remain casual acquaintances rather than become bosom buddies.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): The guy who said it isn't whether you win or lose, but how you play the game did not have his entire life savings at stake. You can be entirely ruthless when it comes down to essential survival.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Remember to pay back and to pay forward all favors and assistance. A tit-for-tat approach creates harmony. You can enjoy mutually beneficial associations if everyone pulls their own weight.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Necessity might be the mother of invention, but it is also the father of convention. If you quit fighting city hall over every painstaking technicality, you may earn the respect and credibility you crave.
IF OCTOBER 15 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: Hold your horses for a few weeks. The stars aren't favorable for making important changes to your career, business or finances, and you may be frustrated if you try to initiate something important. June is a better time to make major decisions, as you might offend the very people you hope to impress right now. Everything starts clicking in March and your ambitions can be realized in through hard work and endless energy. Major projects can be safely started in June when you have the greatest assistance from the world at large and added wisdom. That is a fabulous month to lay down long-term plans or to make improvements.
