BIRTHDAY GUY: Actor Dylan Baker was born in Syracuse, N.Y., today in 1959. This birthday guy is probably best known for playing Curt Connors in "Spider-Man 2" and "Spider-Man 3." He's also appeared in "Secretariat," "Revolutionary Road" and "The Cell." On television, he's recently appeared in recurring roles on "Damages" and "Ugly Betty" as well as starring in the short-lived series "Kings."
ARIES (March 21-April 19): Discuss the future. Relationships are highlighted and you are able to discuss your relationship plans with your partner with ease. Agreements and contracts should be handled carefully and if anything is not to your liking, postpone.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Don't take favors for granted. If someone has come through for you in the past, don't let them down when they come to you. Cooperation is easily achieved; when the agreement is reached it benefits everyone.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20): All experience gained is a good thing. You may be offered sound advice from those who are in power. Even if all you can find is a horrible example, there is still a valuable lesson to be learned from it.
CANCER (June 21-July 22): Do your share of the work. Don't just tag along for the ride; pitch in and help when the need arises. Family matters take precedent and a serious situation at home may require your immediate attention.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Giving yields its own rewards. You will get the most satisfaction by being generous and compassionate today. This is a good time for making a fresh start in the business world or for reigniting an old flame.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Count pennies. Going over the books could reveal an error that leans in your favor. In business, seal the deal -- even if a better offer might come later. Treat friends and loved ones to an evening of fun.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): You've earned the right to be lazy. You may be at your best if you kick back and relax. After a long week of work, a little dance with romance may recharge your batteries and improve your outlook.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Play to win. Any job worth doing is worth doing well; when faced with a task, your best bet is to give it your all. A casual romance may turn into something much more valuable than anticipated.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): If someone scratches your back, make sure you scratch theirs. Compromise is today's key word. You can overcome obstacles by finding points that are mutually beneficial to all parties.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Keep your cool. Losing your head over a business matter could land you in hot water. Remain professional and aboveboard in all your dealings. Don't let your emotions run away with your head.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Test your limits and exercise your talents. Move out of your comfort zone and explore new avenues of business. Romantic interests will safely simmer on the back burner until work is finished.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Burn the midnight oil. Even if it cuts into your leisure time, stay at work until the task at hand is finished. Once the job is done, you'll have all weekend to whisper sweet nothings to that special someone.
IF OCTOBER 7 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: Romeo and Juliet might have met under the same conditions that exist this month. Don't make any major promises or commitments during October, as they might entail more responsibilities than expected or unseen drawbacks. January is a much better time for entering into romantic commitments or for making a job change. Not only will people in general recognize your unique abilities and attractiveness, you seem to project honesty and trustworthiness that will be reciprocated. April is a good month for decisionmaking or to obtain professional advice, while July is a very good month for financial decisions.
