LOS ANGELES -- A woman and her daughter who had their Silky Terrier puppy stolen in a violent "fake car accident" robbery were reunited Tuesday with their beloved four-legged friend, according to police.
The robbery happened June 14th. That's when two men and two women collided, allegedly on purpose, with the car driven by Sharon West.
West's 18-year-old daughter, Jovanna Ware and her terrier, Shilo, were also in the vehicle.
According to the LAPD, the armed suspects robbed West of her purse and stole the Silky Terrier puppy.
Detectives were able to follow a trail of evidence left by the suspects and recover the puppy.
Shilo the Silky Terrier was found in good condition.
The suspects have not been captured, however LAPD detectives say they have solid leads and expect to arrest all four.
