Nat Turner

The pictorial recreation of the discovery of Nat Turner (1800 - 1831), the slave leader who led an uprising of some 75 slaves in August 1831. He was convicted for the murder of his master's family and about 50 others in the vicinity and was eventually convicted and hanged.
