Bay grasses, vital shelter for crabs, declined last year

The Chesapeake Bay's underwater grasses provide food and shelter to a variety of fish and animals, including the estuary's iconic blue crabs. This one was found in a tangle of grass pulled aboard a crabber's boat in summer 2012.
