Duchess of Cambridge wears Jenny Packham home from the hospital

We may not yet know the name of the newborn Prince of Cambridge, but we do know the name of the designer his mother wore home from the hospital -- Jenny Packham.

According to an email we received moments ago, the Duchess of Cambridge left St. Mary's Hospital in London on Tuesday wearing a bespoke cornflower blue crêpe de chine dress by the British designer.

The Times' fashion critic Booth Moore notes that the wardrobe choice has some signficance. "She’s wearing a polka dot dress," Moore pointed out, "just like Diana did when she left the hospital."

A touching tribute if ever there was one.
