To say the Missioni for Target collection has been a hit is a serious understatement.

Think mobs of Black Friday proportions, customers pummeling through every last item. And the retailer's website was no different. Hoards of online shoppers flocked to Target’s site only to crash it for much of the day yesterday.

Many customers were upset because all they found were empty racks and out of stock labels. So few people had the chance to buy anything from the new line.

It didn't take long for many of the lucky few to start selling their precious goods on eBay, some for triple the price. Time Magazine reports this $50 dollar hoodie was bought in an eBay auction for $135.

Before anyone else falls victim to the frenzy…

Designer Margherita Missoni tweeted: “You guys! Very silly to buy #missonifortarget on ebay for 3 times the price!! For that money go out and get M Missoni!" (Their mid-level collection.)

And Target gave shoppers more reason to hold off on buying off eBay when they tweeted, “Good news! Limited Missoni for Target items will be restocked by the end of the week!”
