Here are just a few of the tried and true veteran designers we know will have a major impact with their spring collections during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

BCBG Max Azria (showcasing Thursday, Sept. 6) BCBG Max Azria's fall line was inspired by a Polaroid photograph taken in 1978 in St. Tropez by Helmut Newton. Max Azria calls the collection's inspiration "fearless."

Nicole Miller (showcasing Friday, Sept. 7): With Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and Gabrielle Union regularly rocking her looks, Nicole Miller is a favorite of the famous and fashion critics. Miller's clothes cater to the female form.

Herve Leger by Max Azria (showcasing Saturday, Sept. 8): Herve Leger's fall collection was inspired by "Center medallion strips with multiple borders," a quilt made by Annie May Young. Azria says the collection is "layers that bond the eye."

Christian Siriano (showcasing Saturday, Sept. 8): The "Project Runway" wunderkind will be showcasing his spring/summer collection at Eyebean Studios. Siriano promises a collection that offers a little something for everyone. In fact, Siriano said he had so many fantastic pieces to chose from, the biggest challenge of this collection was having to get rid of some pieces.

Monique Lhuillier (showcasing Saturday, Sept. 10): We'll be backstage with MAC makeup artists live-tweeting about this show.

Zac Posen (showcasing Sunday, Sept. 9): We'll be backstage with MAC makeup artists live-tweeting about the ultra popular American designer's show.

Diane von Furstenberg (showcasing Sunday, Sept 9): This has been a busy year for the iconic designer. In addition, to her spring and fall collections, she also produced a collection for Gap Kids.

Tracy Reese (showcasing Sunday, Sept. 9): Inspired by the hues found in David Hockney landscapes, Reese's Spring 2013 collection will focus on foliage-inspired greens, blues, lilacs, tangerines and neutrals. "I played with the juxtaposition of organic and technical, soft and structured and sporty and feminine for an unexpected and refreshing collection," Reese said. "A quilted silk jacket layered over a black burnout gauze shirt and a mentholescence stretch linen trouser, and paired with fringed sandal and clutch, creates an effortless look that is sophisticated yet relaxed."

Vera Wang (showcasing Tuesday, Sept. 11): From high-end wedding dresses to her fashion and home collection at Kohl's, Wang offers fashions in a variety of price points. While her more accessible lines are fantastic, we can't wait to see her top of the line runway couture.

Tory Burch (showcasing Tuesday, Sept. 11): The designer with Philadelphia roots has become the go-to name for everyone from Anne Hathaway and Halle Berry to Taylor Swift. Her bags are to die for. And her frocks are equally coveted.

Milly (showcasing Wednesday, Sept. 12): Michelle Smith, designer and creative director of Milly, describes her collection as "contemporary surrealism." We can't wait to see it come to life —-especially after her Mod looking collection of frocks currently in stores right now.

Ralph Lauren (showcasing Wednesday Sept. 13): The famed designer unveils his latest collection of what undoubtedly will be classic American elegance.
