Glimpsed at Work: Laurie Manning
Practical, versatile pieces that carry over from season to season and sophisticated, classic pieces are the keys to Laurie Manning's fashion forwardness. "Don't be overly trendy," the 26-year-old Canton resident advised. When we caught up with the Poppy and Stella merchandise manager, we absolutely loved her black and blue combination, which is so haute this year. Her black tank from Target went so well with her navy skirt from Marshall's. Her Donald Pliner metallic gold wedges from Poppy and Stella added a futuristic pop. She belted the skirt with a belt from Hunting Ground. Her watch was from Fossil. Her necklace was from Poppy and Stella. "Be true to yourself," she advised. "Follow the trends or keep it classic and shop everywhere to create your own look."
