Baltimore Fashion Week will return to Baltimore city in 2014, says organizer Sharan Nixon. The showcase began in the city in 2008 but has changed locations multiple times; last year, it was held in Pikesville. Baltimore Fashion Week will run Aug. 14-17 at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, 20 W. Baltimore St. Each night, the work of more than 10 local, national and international designers will be featured — last year, designers came from as far as Uganda. Registration is open for designers at baltimore-fashionweek.com, and Nixon says the event is also looking for models, hair stylists and makeup artists. Shows will be open to the public, and tickets can be purchased through the website starting June 1.
