A NEW HOME

After a last-minute scramble to find a venue, Baltimore Fashion Week has found a home. Since January, Baltimore Fashion Week founder Sharan Nixon has been operating under the assumption that she would hold her four-day event in Harbor East. Nixon announced last week that she was not able to secure a lease with H&S Properties Development Corp., the group responsible for developing the Harbor East area. Monday, Nixon signed a contract to hold her event at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Baltimore. "Luckily we were able to find a venue in enough time to accommodate the guests, designers, models, production team while keeping the same level of professionalism for the event," Nixon says. "It's very nostalgic and convenient." |
