Fifteen students from Maryland Center for Fashion Design will unveil their spring collections as part of Nataline's Fashion Legacy "Rising Stars" Benefit. Proceeds from the event go to the Nataline Sarkisyan Foundation, which honors the late fashion design student who died at 17 from liver failure due to complications from Leukemia. "Being introduced to Natalines story was heartfelt and enlightening. She dreamed of being a designer like many of my students. I want to share the realities of her life story that inspire and create awareness," Ella Pritsker, Master Couturier and Founding Director of the Maryland Center for Fashion Design, says in a press release.
