Hanger Alley

It started as an online fashion web site with frequent showcasings at festivals in Baltimore and Washington. It has resulted in a flagship boutique in Fells Point. Hanger Alley is banking that a high quality, low cost concept will work in the emerging Fells Point business district. All items sold at Hanger Alley are less than $100. D.C. native Nichole Daley, the concept's founder, has lived in New York City and Los Angeles, and pulls affordable clothes from the fashion centers. She hopes her eye results in the story having a collection that is "unique, creative and full of personality."

Hanger Alley is open Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. 2007 Fleet St.
