Green Monday: $20 off every $100 spent at Target.com, hot Ebay deals on electronics, jewelry

It's Green Monday on Dec. 11, when retailers offer the next big wave of deals for holiday shoppers.

At Target.com, save $20 for every $100 spent with a maximum discount of up to $100, according to a news release. No coupon is necessary, but there are some exclusions, including toys, Apple goods, Google products, some sporting goods and gift cards among other items.

Target also is offering free shipping with no minimum purchase through Dec. 23.

Green Monday was created by eBay 10 years ago to encourage online shopping on the second Monday in December and has become the second-best day to snag online deals behind Cyber Monday

Ebay deals will be offered each hour with free shipping, with special savings on electronics, home items, fashion and more.

Save 50 percent on a Bose Sound System, get 60 percent off a Samsung 75-inch HDTV and save nearly 60 percent on a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, according to the company.

Also coming up is Free Shipping Day on Dec. 15 in which more than 1,000 retailers offer the service with no minimum purchase with guaranteed delivery by Dec. 24.
