During the annual, month-long Free Fall Baltimore event, hundreds of arts and cultural attractions, performances are more are offered — as the name suggests — for free. And today, that means admission to the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore comes at no cost.
Tickets are typically $14-$18, so it's a pretty decent deal. And if you need any more reasons to check it out, the zoo recently won a national award for its Penguin Coast exhibit.
Other Free Fall Baltimore events today include the opening night film for this year's Baltimore International Black Film Festival, "BaddDDD Sonia Sanchez" (6:45 p.m. at the Charles Theatre); and an artists reception for the "Celebration of the Orchid" exhibit at the Rawlings Conservatory.
