( Barbara Haddock Taylor, Baltimore Sun / September 6, 2012 ) Mark Kitching is a crab scraper from Smith Island. He fishes the Chesapeake Bay for crabs by using a net which scrapes the bottom of the bay. He pulls the net aboard his boat, the Miss Anita, and looks through the grass and mud trying to find soft shell and peeler crabs. |
